What is mikromedia workStation v7?

mikromedia workStation v7 provides full development environment for mikromedia boards ver. 1.05 and above. It features on-board debugger, multimedia modules, four mikroBUS host sockets and a large breadboard area. Abstract pin names irrelevant of target mikromedia will bring you enormous flexibility and portability of your code for to supported architecture.

 We made sure to think one step ahead. Naming mikromedia pins in plain english and the same way for any supported mikromedia means that you don’t have to browse through datasheets or documentation to do what you want. We provided compiler libraries that will help you even further. When you write your code you can easily port it from one architecture to another.

One board for all Microchip mikromedias

PIC18, dsPIC33, PIC24 or PIC32?

If you love 8-bit programming just use mikromedia for

PIC18FJ. If you need motor control, FFT or DSP processing

choose mikromedia for dsPIC33 or dsPIC33EP. If you need 16-bit

microcontroller with peripheral pin select and loads of modules, choose

mikromedia for PIC24 or PIC24EP. Finally, if you want top performance and high

processing power choose none other than mikromedia for PIC32. Whatever you go for,

this board supports it all. How cool is that?

Add motor drivers or relays to the breadboard area and build fully functional device. Connect custom sensors, add op-amps, make custom interfaces, whatever you want. We provided hi-quality transparent large breadboard with 830 points so you can do this with ease. It integrates beautifully with the rest of the system. Additional 52-pin female socket is provided so you can bring every mikromedia pin to the breadboard with a wire jumper.
